spontaneously decided
such a long time since last i updated my bloggy. the reasons for that will be :

1. no download quota left
2. nothing interesting to spill out
3. just get everything done (assignments) and over at the early of this week

and now im back here again. hehe. yesterday, i've been thinking for hours (only) whether or not going to craig david's. and yesterday, my friend from hong kong suddenly brought up this and she said that she'll go with me if i go. i made up decision during yesterday's lecture and we went to his concert with fazz along. a spontaneous decision really end up with lots and lots more excitement. he was so hot and yeah, i've been to his live's performance already. although i felt a bit guilty since now is Ramadhan, month of amal and kebajikan, but thats the decision i've already made. as long as i am satisfied and its worth it, it should be alright ritez?

its getting nearer to the end of the week. and next week will be the swot vac. have to make used of it as effective as i can. good luck everyone..

lifes full of suprises..
gawd, im the slacker. slacka. slackkaaa. yesterday was kimah's bday. a suprised birthday party has been planned for her last nite at campus lodge. with the black and white theme. i was pretty tensed coz suddenly i need to go and attend a discussion with my assignment partner. so, it means im gonna be a bit late la to the party. at around 8pm camtu, we've already done. ntah kenapa la last nite terasa nak naik safety bus for the first time. while waiting for the bus to go, suddenly this familiar face appeared. dammnn.. it was the bday gurl! ha ha ha. it was very hard to avoid from her to realize whats going to happen coz i was dressed up, wearing a dress with high heels plak tu. gile obvious. tapi si kimah ni relax jer seolah olah takde apa yg berlaku. hehe. she went back home and teng teng teng. SUPRISE!! all da gurls (pet scholars) were there already and i came in few seconds after. we celebrated kimah's bday with full of laughters and 'suprises'. it was fun tho. much much fun. girls night in ayy? suprise tak surprise.. sarah received a call from luqzan from the city. they just got back from watching rugby and they were lepaking with senario! i dont know who came out with this, but guess what. we, 10 of us called a maxi cab and went up to the city and berlari-larian to catch the bus to go home semata-mata ada senario. huh? lawakss gell kan. 30 mins borak with mazlan pet pet.. smart learning, mind mapping, gigi besi, bla bla bla, lan buangan, hahhaha. sorry to those yg tak paham, to all yg paham.. it was a very happening moment kan. once in a blue moon.. by the way,

to kimah.. happy belated 20-teen birthday. have a great and blessed life. amin..

heyloo. i just love these two articles. meaningful. got these from my frens as forwarded email. come and go through it.

A Woman's Dignity In Islam

Abu Hurairah narrated that a man asked Holy Prophet (s.a.w): "Who is most worthy of my good treatment? He answered: Your Mother. The man asked: Who comes next? And he answered: Your mother. The man then asked again: Who comes next? And he answered: Your mother. The man then inquired a fourth time, and he answered: Your father. (Bukhari and Muslim)

The Holy Prophet (s.a.w): "Any one, who has daughters and is kind to them, will find that on the Day of Judgment, they will serve as a shield for him against Hell."(Bukhari and Muslim)

I've been meaning to put up something related to women in Islam for quite a while. But I haven't really had the time to make a thorough research on it. Now seems to be a good time.

People ask me all the time, non-Muslims and even Muslims sometimes, "Why do you wear 'tudung'(hijab) naz?" It can be a tricky question to answer to non-Muslims but for Muslims, they should know that the only reason would be no other than... "... because of Allah." I'm not saying I'm the perfect example of a Muslim woman, in fact I'm far from reaching that but most importantly, I try to be. Sometimes I have a tough time answering questions like, "Why do some Muslim women wear hijab and others don't?" To me it's rather simple, it could only be from the 3 as follows. Firstly, they weren't brought up in a proper Islamic approach. Secondly, they have not received Allah's hidayah and are still searching. And last but most importantly, they just don't practice Islam as much as they admit to be a Muslim. The saddest would be the latter.

A good example to explain this to non-Muslims would be one I collected from this book I own entitled, "20 Most Common Questions About Islam" by Dr. Zakir Abdul-Karim Naik in his example of twin sisters. He wrote in his book, suppose two sisters namely twins, identical and equally beautiful walk down the street. The only way of telling them apart was how they dressed. One, completely covered as required in Islam while the other decides to adorn herself with western clothing, mini skirt and a fitting top to go with. Along the corner, a hooligan awaits for a catch. Whom will he tease? The girl wearing the Islamic hijab or the girl in mini? Naturally, you would know of the answer. This goes to show that the way a woman carries herself plays an important role in not only her dignity but safety as well.

Islam has restored a woman's dignity and humanity as a human being who deserves to be respected and not be regarded as an object or a symbol of entertainment. An Evening News staff writer, Cynthia Ramnarance wrote in her article, "Just because a Muslim woman is wearing a head scarf, it doesn't mean she can't speak English. It doesn't mean she is uneducated. It doesn't mean she is oppressed." I couldn't agree more. Most people look down upon this party thus considering them as second class citizenz. In some countries like Saudia Arabia, it might be true that women are disadvantaged because of their gender like not being allowed to drive and such. Although Muslim women in some countries do not share the same social status as men do in some countries, women are highly looked upon as mothers and are regarded as a standing pillar to the development of their children's well being. Note this, in Islam there is absolutely no difference between men and women as far as their relationship to Allah is concerned, as both are promised the same reward for good conduct and the same punishment for evil conduct. Even the syariah regard women as the spiritual and intellectual equals of men. The Quran says: "And for women are rights over men similar to those of men over women."

A Hero's Advice To His Daughters

The following incident took place when Muhammad Ali's daughters arrived at his home wearing clothes that were not modest. Here is the story as told by one of his daughters:

When we finally arrived, the chauffer escorted my younger sister, Laila, and me up to my father's suite. As usual, he was hiding behind the door waiting to scare us. We exchanged many hugs and kisses as we could possibly give in one day. My father took a good look at us. Then he sat me down on his lap and said something that I will never forget.

He looked me straight in the eyes and said, "Hana, everything that God made valuable in the world is covered and hard to get to. Where do you find diamonds? Deep down in the ground, covered and protected. Where do you find pearls? Deep down at the bottom of the ocean, covered up and protected in a beautiful shell. Where do you find gold? Way down in the mine, covered over with layers and layers of rock. You've got to work hard to get to them."

He looked at me with serious eyes. "Your body is sacred. You're far more precious than diamonds and pearls, and you should be covered too."

Women are like apples on trees. The best ones are at the top of the tree. The men don't want to reach for the good ones because they are afraid of falling and getting hurt. Instead, they just get the rotten apples from the grounds that aren't as good, but easy. So the apples at the top think something is wrong with them, when in reality, THEY'RE amazing. They just have to wait for the right man to come along, the one who's brave enough to climb all the way to the top of the tree

menguji kesabaran btoi...
on friday, thot of staying home jer. malas and tired. but, these two handsome guys, dolah and helmi ajak me to follow them shopping. occay, i asked mynn n fazz to go with me along. we went to china town just to get 3 dozens (i think) of maggi goreng (its not ours, its helmi and dolah's) and straight away went to the city to 'choose' the clothes they wanna buy. came to a shop, then went to another shop. came back to the shop before, then entered another shop. went to the other shop and came back to the shop before. and finally, they own NONE of the clothes they surveyed and berkenannn tu. geram btol.. the fact that we are encouraged to be patient ni la makes me cool skit. kalau tak, memang kene laaa sorang sorang. dolah was a lil bit lucky coz he bought one jugak at last. ermmmmmmm...

saddest yet memorable
yesterday, wait.. give me a sec to list all of us up.. kak zila, kak jas, kak kay, kak yanti, rofi, farid, aishah, huda, kimah, baiya, hanip, helmi, apis, dolah, faiz, fazz, mas, rabbit, mynn, leen, and me had a trip to sunshine coast together with our beloved abang amir and kak shima and spent our time there for the whole day. left brisbane at 10 am with 2 taragos and 2 new cars and experienced the best journey ever sepanjang this year. hehe. this trip was planned by abang amir and kak shima and i respect them for being so organized. it was a fully-100%-worth-going trip. we've been to the super bee where shows the production of honey and provides variety of honey which taste different from each other. and also to the big pineapple where shows the beauty of the lush tropical fruit plantations and has the biggest pineapple replica in aussie. hehehe. then, we had picnic at caloundra beach.. yummy chicken rice and watermelon juice.. uwaaa, laughter will not come without tears aight? had a farewell ceremony as abg amir n kak shima will be going back for good next week. a very sad moment especially when the presents were given. both of them had a pic wearing the robe and holding the frame of us. what a sweet pic. they really like the frame la ili.. hehe. pity you of not being with us. =( then, gerak to another beach after that n guess what we did. MANDI LAUT!! mantap gell n feel so relieved. puas hati had fresh breeze and fresh salt-water. thank God for the nice weather. tiring + happy + satisfied + sad + enjoyable after all. finally, arrived brisbane around 7pm, had dinner, went back home and had a longgg nap with unforgettable dreams.
